About Me

I am an Associate Professor, and Rae S. and Bell M. Shimada Endowed Faculty Fellow in Memory of Warren S. Wooster, in the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs at the University of Washington. I am also faculty in the Quantitative Ecology and Resource Management program.

My research is broadly focused on the economics of natural resource management in marine and coastal systems. My current research topics include the economics of salmon recovery, harmful algal blooms, and managing aquatic invasive species under climate change.
